Tommy Hilfiger stores in Russia can resume operations under a different brand until the end of 2023. This was stated to TASS by the vice president of the Union of Shopping Centers, Pavel Lyulin.
“Taking into account that some stores operate incognito, without a sign, it is not technically difficult to change the brand and relaunch the chain; It may take a month or two. Therefore, there is a high probability that we will see an updated network this year,” Lyulin said.
One of these updated stores could be a location in the Aviapark shopping center. Tommy Hilfiger “is already operating there, but without signal.” In the assortment of points of sale, most of the items can be from the Tommy Hilfiger brand, since the Ministry of Industry and Trade has allowed parallel import of its products. Prices will be adjusted, but “no more than by the level of inflation.”
Natalia Kermedchieva, co-owner of CRE + Retail Group, agreed that the chain could resume operations by the end of the year. In her opinion, stores will replenish their assortment with products from the seasonal stock of distributors.
