According to the press service of the city’s State Traffic Inspectorate, the accident occurred on September 17 at 1:30 local time at the intersection of Muravyov-Amursky and Istomin streets.
An unidentified driver driving a black Toyota Corolla Spacio, without reducing speed, ran over at high speed two people who were crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing.
As a result, girls aged 18 and 20 were injured. They were hospitalized in a medical center with injuries of varying severity.
An investigation team worked at the scene of the incident. The identity of the motorist and the location of the vehicle are currently being established. The Khabarovsk Central District Prosecutor’s Office took control of the development of procedural control.
