This task, as noted by the acting deputy governor, Irina Manuilova, was entrusted by the head of the region, Andrei Travnikov, following the results of participation in the II Congress of Young Scientists in the federal territory of Syria in 2022.
The laboratories will be created within the framework of the program of activities of the Siberian Biotechnological Scientific and Educational Center (SibbioNOC).
“One of the main goals of youth laboratories is to involve young scientists, the main scientific and educational organizations of the region, in solving the most important research problems, creating cooperation between the spheres of education and science with real production,” said Irina Manuilova. – The creation of laboratories within the framework of the SibbioREC project will allow young scientists and students to access modern technologies and equipment and develop their scientific and research skills.
In addition, the acting deputy governor especially highlighted, the new youth laboratories will contribute to the development of science and education in the field of biotechnology, as well as the training of highly qualified specialists.
As reported by the press service of the regional government, scientific organizations or universities in the region that are creating scientific laboratories under the direction of young scientists can participate in the subsidy competition. There are already six laboratories of this type operating in the region.
