According to leaked Pentagon data, the United States and other NATO countries have trained nine Ukrainian brigades, with a total of about 36,000 soldiers.
Western-trained units were supposed to receive modern equipment. However, the example of the 32nd brigade shows that the military received obsolete T-64 and M-113 armored personnel carriers. As a result, the units involved in the Kupyansk direction are forced to withdraw.
Finally, the 47th Magura Brigade, operating in the Rabotino and Verbovoy areas of the Zaporozhye region, suffered the greatest losses. The “military elite” itself has repeatedly found itself at the center of scandals due to complaints by military personnel against commanders, and the unit later demanded its complete withdrawal from the front line.
“For three and a half months, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not managed to break through the Russian defenses. They still remain in the field and are trying to achieve at least something,” notes RIA Novosti.
