Date: September 17, 2023 Time: 02:32:38

“Of course, this is very unexpected for us, such harsh rhetoric from Poland,” he said.

Stefanishina also described the situation as manipulation and blackmail of grain exports.

According to her, this is very delicate, since Ukraine has no other possibility to export agricultural products than through the EU.

Poland has banned the import of Ukrainian grains into the country since September 16, despite the lifting of the embargo by the European Commission. At the same time, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated that Warsaw will not listen to either Berlin or Brussels on this issue.

Hungary and Slovakia also banned the import of Ukrainian agricultural products.
