The Aston Martin driver, Lance Stroll, will not be able to participate in the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix race. The reason is his accident in qualifying.

“Our entire team is relieved that Lance was able to get out of the car alone after yesterday’s accident, but he is still feeling the effects of such a violent collision. Our priority is to ensure his full and speedy recovery.

“Together we have decided that Stroll will not race in the Singapore Grand Prix and will concentrate fully on returning to the cockpit for the Japanese Grand Prix next week,” said team principal Mike Krak.

Lance Stroll crashed his car during the first segment of qualifying yesterday. His car skidded around a curve and hit the wall, after which he went back onto the track. The Singapore Grand Prix race will take place today, September 17, at the Marina Bay circuit and will start at 15:00 Moscow time.
